Clermont Radiology is licensed and regulated by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). AHCA is responsible for the administration of the Florida Medicaid program, licensure and regulation of Florida’s health facilities and for providing information to Floridians about the quality of care they receive.
American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging. ACR accreditation helps assure patients that Clermont Radiology provides the highest level of image quality and safety. The accreditation process documents that Clermont Radiology meets requirements for equipment, medical personnel and quality assurance. The Mammography Accreditation Program provides peer review and feedback on staff qualifications, equipment, quality control and assurance, image quality and dose. Accreditation is required for all U.S. facilities.

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) accredits imaging facilities and hospitals specific to echocardiography. IAC accreditation is a means by which facilities can evaluate and demonstrate the level of patient care they provide. Clermont Radiology is proud to be accredited by the IAC for Echocardiography.
The mission of the Image Gently Alliance is, through advocacy, to improve safe and effective imaging care of children worldwide. Clermont Radiology has successfully achieved accreditation in Computed Tomography for pediatric imaging. This demonstrates their ability to image pediatric patients with the appropriate radiation doses.
The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is the world’s largest credentialing organization that seeks to ensure high quality patient care in medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy. The Radiology Technologists at Clermont Radiology are certified and registered through administration of education, ethics and examination requirements by the ARRT.
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) is the premier professional association of people working in medical imaging and radiation therapy. The mission of the ASRT is to advance and elevate the medical imaging and radiation therapy profession and to enhance the quality and safety of patient care. The Radiology Technologists at Clermont Radiology are members of ASRT.
